Masterclass Review (): Is It Worth The Money?
The instructors in the MasterClass catalogue are the best in the world, best masterclass for writing. No other platform is offering anything close.
As a writer, I owe so much of what I know to the MasterClass writers greats like Aaron Sorkin, James Patterson, and Margaret Atwood.
MasterClass is the best writing suite anywhere. Thanks to the All Access PassI best masterclass for writing take whatever MasterClass I want whenever I want without paying extra. And I can take new MasterClasses as soon as they come out. This is not a definitive ranking of the MasterClasses. Firstly, this is an incredibly personal and biased ranking. But I tried to stay impartial and rank each MasterClass based on their own merits.
Secondly, this was an incredibly hard task. Choosing a number one best MasterClass was basically impossible. If you asked me next week, my choice would probably be different. And trying to order the top ten MasterClasses was ridiculously hard. This just comes down to what personally had the biggest lasting impact on me.
I did manage to improve my portrait photography skills and learnt about different lenses and lighting, but this MasterClass is mainly a meditation on the craft of photography from a master who has dedicated her life to it. The most exciting aspect of the Judd Apatow MasterClass was the fact that you got to choose from one of three different project assignments depending on what discipline you fall into: stand-up comedian, writer-director, or screenwriter. The projects are all totally awesome, challenging, and inspiring, leaving you with a best masterclass for writing product at the end.
I had a blast doing my screenwriter project. My favourite part of the Judd Apatow MasterClass was all about getting personal, considering situations from every angle, best practices for brainstorming comedy lists, questions, etcstarting with the punch-line and building a story around it, and how to build your act methodically.
